The reasons attorneys should seek out referrals from their brethren are (1) that they refer better cases, (2) lawyers are loyal to other attorneys who take good care of their clients (in part because they don’t have time to look elsewhere, and (3) attorneys understand what it’s like to practice law so are more likely to forgive us if we drop the ball on a customer service issue. Once he’s convinced you that you should market to other attorneys, Riley explains how to do so effectively.
